PROJECT SUMMARY
Developed at DX Products for the launch of the Trimmer 2.0, this project covered the complete creative process, from concept development and 3D modelling to animation, rendering, and art direction. The campaign used classical Greek sculpture as a visual metaphor for body grooming, presenting the trimmer as a sculptor’s chisel. This concept positioned the product as a precise and refined tool that allows users to shape and define their bodies with control and intention.

PROJECT ONE
THE IDEA
This project was created during my time at DX Products to support the launch of the company’s second-generation men’s grooming trimmer. Positioned as an improved version of the original product, the new model was branded as the Trimmer 2.0.
I was responsible for the full creative production of the project, including concept development, 3D modelling, animation, rendering, and art direction. The primary objective was to communicate the trimmer’s updated features while presenting the product through a distinctive and visually engaging narrative.
The creative concept centred on the idea of body grooming as a form of sculpting. To communicate this, I used a classical Greek statue
as the main visual metaphor, with the trimmer functioning as a sculptor’s chisel. This represented the user’s ability to shape, refine, and define their body according to their personal ideal.
Greek sculpture was chosen because it is traditionally associated with physical perfection, idealised proportions, and timeless artistry. By connecting these qualities with the product, the project positioned the trimmer as a precision tool that enables users to approach personal grooming with the control and intention of a sculptor creating a work of art.

R&D RENDERS AND TESTING
THE
SCRAPS
A collection of developmental ideas, early-stage renders, visual experiments, and behind-the-scenes imagery that documents the project’s evolution from initial concept to final execution. This process involved exploring a range of look-development approaches, including variations in lighting, materials, composition, colour, and overall visual direction, to establish the most effective style for bringing the concept to life.
