PROJECT SUMMARY
A teaser campaign created for the pre-release of the Edge Pro, designed for exhibition, web, and email use. Through abstract animation and imagery, the project highlights the product’s premium materials, tactile qualities, advanced technology, and key design features without fully revealing the product, building intrigue and anticipation ahead of launch.

THE IDEA
I was responsible for creating a teaser campaign for the pre-release of the Edge Pro, designed to debut at an exhibition ahead of the official launch. The content would also be used across the website and email marketing to build awareness and anticipation around the upcoming release date.
The concept was to create an animation, supported by a series of still images, that communicated the key features and qualities of the product through abstract visual storytelling without fully revealing the product itself.
The animation begins with a solid metal cube that gradually morphs into a wave of moving pillars. The metallic material represents the Edge Pro’s premium construction, durability, and high-quality finish, while the wave-like movement communicates vibration, sensation, and increasing intensity as the motion builds in speed.
The sequence then transitions into the soft silicone material used within the product. This creates a deliberate contrast with the
harder metallic visuals, introducing a softer and more refined aesthetic that communicates the feel of the internal tunnel. Close attention is given to the silicone’s texture and surface details, highlighting its tactile qualities and material finish.
From there, the animation moves seamlessly into the interior of the Edge Pro through an X-ray-style sequence that reveals glimpses of its internal components. This reinforces the product’s advanced engineering and high-tech positioning without giving away the complete design.
The sequence concludes with a carefully controlled glimpse of the Edge Pro’s side profile. Strategic lighting is used to reveal only selected elements of the product, with particular emphasis on the buttons positioned on the front. The animation then transitions back to the opening sequence, creating a seamless continuous loop.

THE
SCRAPS
A collection of developmental ideas, early-stage renders, visual experiments, and behind-the-scenes imagery that documents the project’s evolution from initial concept to final execution. This process involved exploring a range of look-development approaches, including variations in lighting, materials, composition, colour, and overall visual direction, to establish the most effective style for bringing the concept to life.
