PROJECT SUMMARY
A two-part motion design project combining product storytelling with functional communication. The first phase used premium 3D visuals, lighting, material detail, and dynamic motion to reveal the timer and position it as a high-quality upgrade to the user experience. The second phase translated the product’s functionality into clear instructional animations, using step-by-step visual guidance to support manuals and distributor materials.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
THE IDEA
This was a two-part motion design project centred around the launch and communication of a new product timer, designed to work alongside the existing product range and improve accuracy during use.
The first phase focused on creating a premium product reveal. High-quality 3D visuals, controlled lighting, and dynamic camera movement were used to showcase the timer’s key features and finish. The visual direction was designed to communicate precision, quality, and a sense of progression, positioning the product as a significant upgrade to the user’s existing routine and overall product experience.
The second phase shifted from promotional storytelling to functional communication. A series of clear instructional animations was developed to demonstrate how the product works, including battery replacement, setup, operation, and general use. These animations were created for inclusion within product manuals and distributor materials, using step-by-step motion, simplified compositions, and focused visual hierarchy to make each instruction easy to follow. This phase was developed in response to distributor feedback, providing a more accessible and visually engaging way to communicate the product’s functionality.

INFO
GUIDE
A collection of developmental ideas, early-stage renders, visual experiments, and behind-the-scenes imagery that documents the project’s evolution from initial concept to final execution. This process involved exploring a range of look-development approaches, including variations in lighting, materials, composition, colour, and overall visual direction, to establish the most effective style for bringing the concept to life.
